As Investor Relations Associate you are responsible for the company’s communication with current and prospective investors, developing high-quality marketing materials, managing investor data and supporting capital raising efforts contributing to the strategic decision-making process.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain investor facing materials including pitch decks, fact sheets, quarterly reports, newsletters, and other investor updates.
• Prepare private placement memoranda and offering materials for fundraising initiatives
• Create compelling PowerPoint presentations tailored to various investor segments.
• Coordinate and respond to investor due diligence questionnaires and requests for proposals.
• Gather and analyze company and portfolio data to support investor inquiries and capital raise processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments (finance, legal, asset management) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of requested materials.
• Maintain and optimize the company’s Customer Relationship Management system to ensure accurate tracking of investor activity, touchpoints and pipeline status.
• Support fundraising efforts through robust data management, pipeline reporting and investor segmentation.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance and consistency across investor records and reporting tools.
• Schedule investor meetings, calls and events
• Generate reports and dashboards to support fundraising and investor relations metrics
• Stay current on industry trends and investor sentiment in the real estate private equity and self-storage sectors.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years professional experience, ideally in investment banking, investor relations, capital markets, real estate private equity or financial marketing.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and CRM systems
- Familiarity with private placements, real estate investment structures and capital raising processes
- Prior involvement in preparing PPMs, DDQs or investor onboarding materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to tailor message to diverse investor audiences
- High level of professionalism, discretion and a proactive attitude.
