Your expertise in industrial engineering will directly enhance the production of critical undersea vehicles, ensuring the operational readiness of submersible technology that supports national security and maritime exploration.
THE WORK
The Industrial Engineering role is at the RMS Palm Beach site. The Palm Beach site is a small, dynamic, low volume, prototyping factory specializing in the manufacturing and test of Remotely Operated Undersea Vehicles, Manned Submersibles and Autonomous Undersea Vehicles. Successful candidate will be exhibit excellent communication skills and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment including but not limited to the following key areas:
• Leading all site Continuous Improvement Performance Management Teams
• Coordinating all Operations Facilities Layouts
• Estimating Labor for Standards and Basis of Estimates
• Lead all site data/analytics reporting

You are a detail-oriented professional with expertise in continuous improvement, facility planning, and data analytics. You bring a technical mindset capable of optimizing operational capacity and labor estimating to drive factory efficiency.
A level 2 employee is an early career professional and typically has 1 to 2+ years of professional experience.

•Continuous Improvement experience
•Facility/Space Planning experience
•Labor Estimating experience
•Capacity Planning experience
•Experience creating queries from multiple data universes to support Operations

Desired Skills:
•Familiarity with Alteryx/Airtable/Tableau/PowerApps
•Familiarity with LM Performance Management Team structure
•Manufacturing Engineering experience
•Apriso/Solumina/SAP experience
•Greenbelt or Blackbelt

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
