Engineering Internship (Central Division)
Program Overview:

Comcast’s Central Division is seeking dynamic, self-motivated intern participants who have a strong passion to drive the age of innovation through our immersive summer experience!
Our 11-week paid internship program gives participants hands-on experience working with various groups across multiple office locations within Comcast’s Central Division. As a member of the team, you will gain invaluable knowledge of the industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture, and receive exposure to other areas of the business.

About the Central Division
Comcast’s Central Division spans a vibrant and diverse region, encompassing major markets such as Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, and Nashville. As one of Comcast’s three primary divisions, the Central Division plays a critical role in driving innovation, operational excellence, and customer experience across the organization. Interns in this division will have the opportunity to collaborate with top-tier professionals, contribute to impactful projects, and explore career paths in technology, business operations, marketing, and more.
Role Overview:
The Engineering Intern Participants will assist full time project coordinators and managers on a variety of projects and will contribute to one or more areas of expertise in collaboration with various cross-functional project teams. The role will be focused on helping to execute on significant projects within the business.
This role is an exciting opportunity that will focus on supporting the execution of significant projects that will require exceptional organizational skills and a customer-first mindset to succeed within a fast-paced environment.
You may also:
Provide strategic and project support for new and existing technology and facilities
Perform basic research on root cause of technical problems
Assist in the development and enhancement of production applications, including working with applications, technical support, and operations during the design, development, and implementation of applications
Assist manager in implementing and maintaining monitoring processes for services, network performance, network maintenance, telecommunications maintenance, and overall network performance/reliability
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Authorized to work in the United States of America
Ability to work 35-40 hours per week over 11 weeks
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
Ability to work in both independent and collaborative environments
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Background:
Prior business exposure through internships, work experiences, or campus organizations
Currently pursuing a major in an Engineering related major including: Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or Secure Computing and Networks
Interest in the telecommunications, cable, and media industries

Base Pay: $27.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
