Job Description:
  • Prepare culture media, reagents, and solutions following standard protocols
  • Isolate, culture, and maintain fungal and bacterial plant pathogens
  • Conduct molecular diagnostics (e.g., DNA extraction, PCR, as applicable)
  • Ensure proper lab organization, sterilization, and biosafety compliance
  • Assist with experimental setup, execution, and data collection in lab and greenhouse trials
  • Support pathogen inoculation assays, disease severity evaluations, and sample processing
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of experiments and results
  • Assist with data entry, basic analysis, and preparation of reports
Expected Salary:

$14.00 hourly

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Preferred:
  • Availability to begin employment in May 2026
  • Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain accurate records
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
