Director of Human Resources serves as the senior HR leader, responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the United Way's mission, culture, and organizational goals. This position typically reports directly to the Chief of Staff and plays a key role in executive leadership. The Director of Human Resources will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the daily functions of the Human Resources department at the professional level and will carry out responsibilities in some or all functional areas: HR administration, employment laws and regulations, compliance, HR policies and procedures, recruitment, hiring/onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, performance management and professional development.
