AN INVITATION TO LEAD: FIRE RESCUE LIEUTENANT
This isn't just another Fire Rescue Lieutenant promotion. This is a call for leaders who want to build a department from the ground up. The Town of Jupiter is starting from a "blank slate," and our founding officers will be the primary architects of our culture. We are seeking a leader who is motivated by this mission and embodies our philosophy of service before self.
You will be a founding company officer, setting the standard of excellence for all who follow. We are looking for leaders who are excited to create, mentor, and build a department that the "community loves" and our "team members love."
WHO YOU ARE: THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
•A Servant Leader: You are the living example of our "culture of service to the community first." You understand that leadership is a responsibility, not a rank. Your first priority is to serve your crew, the citizens, and the mission.
•A Dedicated Mentor: You are a leader who actively "invests in your team members." You "provide counseling and guidance," assist in "career development," and are committed to your crew's "self-improvement."
•A Builder with Integrity: You possess the "integrity" and "initiative" this "blank slate" opportunity demands. The challenge of creating new training, processes, and company-level standards in a new department energizes you.
•A Clinical Leader & Skilled Officer: You are a calm, decisive, and highly-skilled officer who "supervises patient care" with a focus on our "leading-edge, new, and innovative emergency medical services." You ensure your crew is ready for all hazards, prioritize their "health, safety, and wellness," and are prepared to assume the responsibilities of the Captain position as needed.
•An Engaged Innovator: You embrace "innovation." You are excited to work in a department where "data informs decision-making." You are meticulous in "preparing and reviewing reports" and "documentation logs" to ensure quality.
•A True Partner: You are a collaborative professional who "collaborates with the medical director, hospital staff, and public safety partners" and works "hand-in-hand with the entire Town of Jupiter Team" to provide a unified approach to public safety.
