Job Summary:
The Receiving Coordinator in the Warehouse is responsible for managing the intake of goods and materials, ensuring accurate verification against purchase orders, proper documentation, and storage. They confirm the quality and quantity of incoming products, record receipts in the ordering system, and organize distribution within the facility. This role includes maintaining HACCP records for food products, testing food quality, and closely monitoring receiving accuracy.
Responsibilities:
The Receiving Coordinator in the Warehouse is responsible for managing the intake of goods and materials, ensuring accurate verification against purchase orders, proper documentation, and storage. They confirm the quality and quantity of incoming products, record receipts in the ordering system, and organize distribution within the facility. This role includes maintaining HACCP records for food products, testing food quality, and closely monitoring receiving accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the unloading and unpacking of inbound and outbound products.
- Reconcile contents against purchase orders and requisitions.
- Communicate with Procurement and Accounting teams to address discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to oversee product delivery and track chain of custody.
- Maintain cleanliness in loading bays, receiving areas, and warehouse storage.
- Uphold certifications in Food Management and Forklift Operation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, receiving, or inventory management.
- Familiarity with inventory software systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and operate a forklift safely.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines preferred.
