We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Public Space Attendant - Housekeeping. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of all public areas within our property. As a Public Space Attendant, you will play a crucial role in upholding our high standards and providing exceptional guest experiences. This position requires flexibility in working hours - both mornings and evenings, including holidays.
Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Public Space Attendant - Housekeeping. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of all public areas within our property. As a Public Space Attendant, you will play a crucial role in upholding our high standards and providing exceptional guest experiences. This position requires flexibility in working hours - both mornings and evenings, including holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in all public areas, including but not limited to lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and elevators
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of public spaces by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately
- Monitor and replenish supplies in public areas, such as restroom supplies and hand sanitizer stations
- Assist guests with inquiries or requests and provide friendly, professional, and courteous service
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred, but not required
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move heavy objects and walk long distances
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays
