Job Summary:

The Retail Floater will be responsible for working in a variety of retail outlets to support the needs of multiple managers. The ideal candidate should be friendly, motivated, service-oriented, and have experience in sales. Flexibility is key as the candidate will be required to work with a variety of different merchandise and schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a part-time summer position.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a variety of retail outlets to support the needs of multiple managers.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any complaints in a timely and effective manner.
• Use knowledge of sales and merchandising to make recommendations to customers and increase sales.
• Maintain knowledge of product ranges, promotions and special offers in each retail outlet.
• Keep track of inventory, restocking as necessary.
• Ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
• Participate in training and coaching programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in retail sales required.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers.
• Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a variety of schedules and locations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
