The Team:
ServiceNow is building a next-generation Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization to strengthen our security posture and enable secure innovation at scale. We’re looking for a leader with deep expertise across IAM, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and a strong background in software development and technical program leadership.
This is a high-impact opportunity to partner across the company, shape our IAM strategy, and deliver scalable, secure solutions with visibility at the highest levels of ServiceNow.
The Role:
As the Senior Manager, IAM Development, you will define, develop, and lead a world-class program that aligns identity and access controls to business objectives and risk priorities. You will drive architectural and operational change to advance IAM maturity, integrate AI-driven capabilities, and ensure secure, frictionless access across ServiceNow’s global environment.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Engineering, Security, Compliance, and IT, to deliver measurable improvements in IAM posture and lead technical initiatives that define our next-generation identity ecosystem.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of enterprise-scale IAM strategies, frameworks, and programs.
- Define and drive security-related architectural and infrastructure initiatives to meet target IAM standards.
- Oversee IAM metrics and reporting, continuously improving performance and control maturity.
- Foster alignment and delivery across Security, IT, and Engineering teams for IAM dependencies.
- Serve as a technical advisor and thought leader on identity-related risks, trends, and best practices.
- Drive the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for IAM solutions—from requirements to deployment.
- Partner with risk and compliance teams to ensure a cohesive, compliant, and future-ready IAM strategy.
- Communicate program vision, progress, and results to executive and technical stakeholders alike.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

- 10+ years of progressive experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or infrastructure engineering
- Including 5+ years in technical leadership or program management roles.
- Proven success leading enterprise-scale IAM programs across complex, global environments.
- Deep expertise in IAM technologies, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), authentication and authorization protocols, and access control frameworks.
- Strong software development background and hands-on understanding of the development lifecycle, able to lead engineering teams and influence design and build decisions.
- Experience integrating or leveraging AI in IAM programs—such as automating identity workflows, analyzing behavioral patterns, or enhancing decision-making.
- In-depth understanding of IAM frameworks, architectures, and risk mitigation across cloud, mobile, and hybrid environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, manage cross-functional projects, and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Experience in agile delivery frameworks and a strong grasp of modern computing environments (mobile, servers, clients, web, cloud).
- Familiarity with compliance and governance requirements related to identity management.
- Cloud and Mobile experience is preferred as we have a large mobile end user presence
