The Strategy Specialist (Procurement) is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, supplier performance, risk management, and business value. The role partners with internal stakeholders to identify strategic sourcing opportunities, drive continuous improvement, and support long-term procurement objectives aligned with organizational goals.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute category strategies, sourcing plans, and procurement initiatives aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead supplier selection, RFx (RFI/RFQ/RFP), tender exercises, and commercial evaluations to achieve best value.

  • Negotiate commercial terms, Master Service Agreements (MSA), Long-Term Agreements (LTA), and other procurement contracts.

  • Manage strategic supplier relationships through supplier performance reviews, continuous improvement, and development initiatives.

  • Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and demand consolidation initiatives to optimize procurement spend.

  • Conduct supplier and supply chain risk assessments to ensure business continuity and mitigate procurement risks.

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company governance, policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Legal, EHS, and Business Units) to support strategic sourcing and procurement projects.

  • Analyze procurement spend, market intelligence, supplier performance, and category trends to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Support procurement transformation, process optimization, digitalization, and best practice

  • Requirements

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CIPS/CPSM is an advantage.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement strategy.

  • Proven experience in RFx/tender management, supplier selection, contract negotiation (MSA/LTA), and strategic sourcing.

  • Strong knowledge of supplier performance management, cost reduction, procurement governance, compliance, and risk management.

  • Technical procurement experience in manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, facilities, industrial equipment, or related technical categories.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or multinational environments is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and project management skills.

  • Proficient in ERP procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Power Automate or other workflow automation tools to support procurement process digitalization and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to work independently.
