POSITION: Project Manager – Service Engineering
LOCATION: Jupiter, FL
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Service Engineering Director, the Project Manager will support the Service Engineering Management with driving the execution of KPI’s in multiple capacities as required. The role will also serve as a Service Engineering primary focal point liaising and supporting the Project Execution and Quality teams to address timely resolution of customer operational and quality related items.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support Service Engineering management team in coordination of objectives tracking and execution.
- Develop and Track OTS (Outside Technical Services) budgets vs. actuals for Service engineering vendors on active projects.
- Support overtime management/tracking for Service Engineering
- Support Project specific budget tracking per Gate A Service Engineering allocation through execution and alignment with PM
- Liaise with the Quality organization and Act as the Service Engineering quality POC working with Service Engineering Management to drive timely closure of RCAs, CARs, and IPS
- Support IPT (Integrated Product Team) activities within the Service Engineering, Project Execution, and Quality organizations as related to the job functionalities.
- Support Service Engineering management team with document review and creation as it pertains to new processes, Work Instructions, Forms, etc.
- Support management of open IPS items and coordinate timely closure with other departments.
- Coordinate Tendering Technical Risk Review (TTRR) process per OP003031 and act as POC for TTRR initiation and closure and leading the weekly TTRR tracking meeting.
- Support presentations during Service Engineering’s quarterly operations reviews with budget and quality items tracking.
- Support Bi-monthly Service Engineering’s All Hands meeting from a quality and metrics POV.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or financial field.
- Quality Certification/Training preferref
Skills/Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a quality, planning and/or finance focused role
- Experience with leading improvement based projects with impactful results
- Demonstrates strong ownership and ability to multitask.
- Team-oriented, able to align personal and department activities to support the objectives of the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Experience in SAP is preferable
- Travel may be required on an as-needed basis.
