Duties And Responsibilities

- Travels to student’s early learning work site to observe students enrolled in the program.
- Reviews student’s professional portfolio.
- Observes and scores students working with children in the appropriate age group.
- Provides scoring and feedback on results CDA National Credential Scoring Instrument, which includes advising students of best practices and strategies for improvement.
- Maintains student files containing results of written observation tool.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of six credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Growth & Development. For school-age programs, bachelor’s degree or higher with six college credits in school-age education.
- One-year related experience.
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management
- Detail oriented
- Strong leadership
- Work with diverse populations and varying education levels
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Reach and grasp objects
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Use of video display terminal
- Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Identify and distinguish colors and shades of color
- Communicate information orally and in writing
- Receive and understand information through oral and written communication
- Proofread and check documents for accuracy
- Operate a motor vehicle
- Work a fluctuating work schedule
