About this role

Responsible for overseeing global learning initiatives, education abroad programs, and international partnerships. Develops, implements, and assesses programs that promote cross-cultural understanding, global competence, and transformative learning experiences. Establishes and maintains partnerships with international institutions, organizations, and agencies to facilitate student and faculty exchanges.

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Four years of related experience

Knowledge of:

  • Logistics and risk management for education abroad programs
  • Microsoft Office Professional or similar application

Skilled in:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including policy and creative writing, group presentation, and individual coaching and counseling skills
  • Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
  • Organizing and delivering high-impact projects or programs, from concept to completion, that integrate creativity, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented approach
  • Exercising self-initiative and strategic planning

Ability to:

  • Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
  • Collaborate with faculty and stakeholders on campus and throughout the College community on projects impacting students
  • Create a collegial, team-building work environment, motivating staff, and cultivating productive, collaborative relationships with all constituent groups
  • Organize and prioritize multiple, competing priorities to maximize personal and team effectiveness
  • Self-manage tasks and major-projects and improvement efforts

Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Regular physical attendance required

Preferred, but not a must:

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree
  • One year of experience in project management and program development
  • Experience developing and overseeing study abroad programs

Knowledge of:

  • Laws, regulations, and accreditation standards in international education

The minimum base pay for this position starts at $53,677.00 annually; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate’s education and experience.
