About this role
Responsible for providing technical support of grant policies, procedures and compliance to grant managers, administrators and appropriate staff and faculty during pre-grant activities through close-out of grant funded projects. Ensures that the implementation of grant projects conforms to federal, state and private grant compliance regulations and requirements. Supports the grant managers with the completion of annual reports, budget modifications, subcontracts, forms and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance to the Federal, State, and Private program officers.What a day of a Grant Compliance Manager looks like:
Coordinates and assists grant managers to ensure the timeliness, content and professional quality of grant reporting requirements to funding agency.
Designs and develops training materials for administration, faculty and staff on grant compliance rules and regulations.
Monitors various grant managers’ progress towards meeting their project goals, objectives, deliverables, and outcomes.
Conducts site visits on various campuses to review program deliverables and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
Meets periodically with funders and contracted evaluators with grant managers on various campuses.
Clarifies, monitors, and enforces program guidelines, policies, and procedures. Escalates disciplinary issues or unique situations to designated executive staff.
Analyzes and interprets research output to produce and present useful information.
Examines and analyzes all Federal, State, and private grant projects to determine eligibility status and compliance with the requirements of the federal, state or private agencies. Inspects all participant electronic management systems and participant files to ensure consistent and required collection of data in participant records.
Responds to complex inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding a variety of questions such as clarification of College policies and procedures.
Maintains grant project filing systems.
Develops, maintains, interprets and execute administrative procedures and practices. Develops and maintains grant policy manual regarding policies, procedures, rules and standards for the College.
Provides consultation and assistance regarding specific matters within the area of expertise.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Four years of related experience
Knowledge of:
Federal, State, and private grants laws and regulations and policies
Policies, procedures, and outside regulations pertaining to the position
Principles and practices of systems reporting
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
Skilled in:
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Analyzing requirements, resource estimation, and allocation
Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Manage multiple projects with deadline pressures
Ability to:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service
Make effective public presentations
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
Regular physical attendance required

The minimum base pay for this position starts at $69,593.00 annually; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate’s education and experience.
