About this role
Responsible for coordinating the student scholarship process from application to disbursement. Prepares new scholarship agreements and maintains existing agreements. Works collaboratively and strategically with faculty, campus leaders, volunteers, and advancement staff, to develop and implement strategies for donor relationship management.What a day of a Scholarships and Donor Relations Coordinator looks like:
Coordinates financial aid packaging for all outside scholarship and grant resources to ensure overall awards do not exceed the cost of attendance. Analyzes and evaluates financial needs using Federal Methodology. Verifies and authorizes enrollment status and award disbursements.
Assists with the development of materials such as research, briefing memos, proposals, and stewardship materials. requests information on prospective donors to qualify interest and giving potential.
Tracks and reports relationship management activity using Raisers Edge constituent relationship management system, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, proposal submission, and stewardship of prospective and current individual major donors.
Conducts scholarship presentations in individual and group settings to current and prospective students in various settings and formats. Advises and guides students and parents on a variety of scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
Collaborates to design the Foundation scholarship payment process, data exchange and ensures accuracy throughout the scholarship awarding cycles.
Assists in the development of stewardship events for scholarship donors
Maintains current knowledge of field or profession. Travels to training workshops, conferences, meetings, and professional events outside of college locations, as needed.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
Two years of related work experience
Knowledge of:
Raisers Edge constituent relationship management system
Direct mail and solicitation techniques
Financial aid rules and regulations
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
Skilled in:
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Effectively analyzing data and implementing data-informed decisions
Ability to:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service
Develop clear and concise funding proposals
Apply reason to problems involving several variables
Handle highly sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
Regular physical attendance required
Must not be debarred from Title IV Programs, and not in default on Title IV student loans
Must complete FERPA training within 30 days of employment
Some periods throughout the year will require extended work hours including nights, weekends, and college closures

The minimum base pay for this position starts at $52,240.00 annually; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate’s education and experience.
