About this role
Responsible for assisting in operational and organizational duties supporting the department. Over-site of data collection, coordination, analysis, reports, and presentations. Ability to assist in scheduling, triage, and crisis intervention with students. Proficient with community resource linkage and providing Case Management Services.Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and possibly during college closings. This is a grant funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts student intakes, triages students in crisis, and schedules ongoing counseling, medical, and case management appointments.
Tracks and manages data essential to program operations and grant expectations.
Prepares reports, presentations, and other administrative duties to support projects and the department.
Schedules inspections and maintains any licensing and certifications necessary for efficient operations.
Conducts all tasks related to the preparation of the annual and other periodic budgets for the department.
Coordinates, facilitates, and participates in educational and outreach events for the department.
Produces, orders, and organizes marketing, educational, and other materials related to department services.
Responds to requests for linkage to community resources as well as differing college resources.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Associates’ degree
One year of related experience
Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
FERPA and HIPAA
Skilled in:
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Managing and resolving conflict in a positive manner
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems, driving solutions through to completion
Working with diverse populations who may be experiencing mental health challenges, housing and food insecurities, and additional psycho-social stressors
Ability to:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations, and take responsibility for a high level of service
Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
Organize and prioritize multiple, competing priorities to maximize personal and team effectiveness
Develop and deliver presentations containing complex concepts and information in a manner easily understood by culturally diverse groups with varying backgrounds and education levels.
Work on multiple campus locations
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
Valid Florida driver’s license
Regular physical attendance required
Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or any other mental health related field
Skilled in:
Excel formulas and macros, advanced word processing
Research and data analysis to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
Lift, carry, push, pull, install, or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds
Reach and grasp objects
Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Stand for extended periods of time
Use of video display terminal
Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills

Proofread and check documents for accuracy
Work with equipment or perform procedures where carelessness may result in injury
