About this role

Responsible for providing general support to the test administrator or room supervisor during the CLAST and other tests. Takes inventory of materials, preparing, distributing and collecting testing materials, and assisting with questions on testing protocol.Varies

Base Pay: $16.06. Offer amount based on College's Salary Schedule guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists Test Administrator with the preparation, distribution, and collection of test related materials.

  • Gathers routine oral information from (or make oral requests of) other administrative, maintenance or clerical employees and outside vendors, customers, or the public.

  • Responds to routine correspondence under own signature or draft response for supervisor’s review on more complex correspondence. Follow up on items delegated by supervisors to others.

  • Inputs and edit standard text for routine correspondence and reports.

  • Makes photocopies and scans documents into the system.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree

  • One year of testing or academic assessment related experience

Knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Office Professional or similar application

Skilled in:

  • Delivering a high level of customer service

  • Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management

Ability to:

  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations, and take responsibility for a high level of service

  • Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Work Environment and Physical Demand:

  • Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds

  • Reach and grasp objects

  • Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl

  • Stand for extended periods of time

  • Use of video display terminal

  • Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills

  • Communicate information orally and in writing

  • Receive and understand information through oral and written communication

  • Proofread and check documents for accuracy

  • Work a fluctuating work schedule
