About this role
Responsible for supporting marketing and communications special projects and initiatives. Serves as a centralized point of coordination for project intake, workflow management, and production timelines, helping to streamline processes, improve internal client service, and increase the timeliness and quality of deliverables.What a day of a Marketing and Communication Coordinator looks like:
Oversees the intake system for marketing and communications project requests, including reviewing submissions, setting priorities, and providing regular updates to internal clients and leadership on project status.
Monitors various projects to ensure maximum effectiveness and compliance. Updates project plans using project management platforms, tracks campaign assets, and monitors deliverables across multiple concurrent requests.
Coordinates, plans, establishes, and organizes systems and processes to ensure the appropriate documentation and record-keeping procedures are in accordance with state regulations, college policies, and other applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Supports and coordinates scheduling, meeting logistics, billing, and procurement approvals related to communications initiatives.
Organizes and assigns projects to team members, meets with clients to determine needs and best approaches.
Collaborates among departments, functions or groups, within and outside the College. Communicates information through various methods to appropriate personnel and others.
Compiles data and reports including archive searches, billing summaries, campaign performance and provides analytics to leadership.
Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with individuals at all levels within the college and the community.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree or related experience accepted in lieu of degree
Three years related experience
Knowledge of:
Office management and administration
Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
Skilled in:
Delivering a high level of customer service
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Problem and situation analysis
Project management
Ability to:
Organize and prioritize multiple, competing priorities to maximize personal and team effectiveness
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service
Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience working in a marketing communications environment or in an agency setting
Experience with project management or service management platforms
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
Reach and grasp objects

Stand for extended periods of time
Use of video display terminal
Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
Communicate information orally and in writing
Receive and understand information through oral and written communication

The minimum base pay for this position starts at $21.10/ hr; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate’s education and experience.
