The preferred candidate would be local within a commutable distance to our Boca Raton, FL headquarters.NOTE: NCCI will not sponsor applicants for work visas.WHAT YOU’LL DO:As a Lead Data Analyst, you'll serve as a key subject matter expert, influencing how critical medical data is collected, validated, and leveraged across the organization and the broader workers compensation industry, including: Lead Data Quality & Operational Excellence Coordinate team activities and priorities to ensure operational goals and service commitments are achievedOversee data collection, validation, and quality assurance processes for medical data assetsIdentify process gaps, root causes, and opportunities for operational improvementDevelop and implement new workflows, procedures, and business solutions to meet evolving industry needs Serve as a Subject Matter Expert Act as the primary resource for complex medical data questions and issue resolutionProvide guidance on data standards, data structures, reporting, and data management practicesPartner with business and technical teams to resolve data issues impacting multiple systems, databases, and data providersCreate detailed business requirements to support system enhancements and process improvements Partner & Communicate Across the Industry Build strong relationships with external data providers, independent rating bureaus, and regulatory agenciesLead industry communications, training programs, presentations, and technical discussionsDevelop and maintain clear documentation, team procedures, and operational standardsPrepare reports, findings, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders Support Team Success Review work for quality and consistency while coaching team members on complex issuesHelp drive continuous improvement initiatives across teamsSupport change management efforts involving new systems, processes, and technologies WHAT IT TAKES: Bachelor's degree or additional related work experience5+ years of experience in: Data analysisBusiness operationsData managementFinancial services, healthcare, insurance, or similar analytical environments 3+ years of experience: Creating and maintaining technical documentationAnalyzing and reporting data using Microsoft Excel Strong ability to: Investigate and resolve complex data issuesAnalyze trends and identify root causesDevelop new processes and operational workflowsTranslate business needs into system and data requirementsMentor multiple team members Experience leading across teams to coordinate priorities and achieve shared objectivesAdvanced communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiencesProficiency with:SQL, PL/SQL, or similar relational database query toolsMicrosoft Excel PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES: Insurance, claims, healthcare, or financial data experienceWorkers’ Compensation industry data and processes knowledgeExperience with data extraction, testing, or validation toolsExperience developing reports for data analysisExperience with business requirements gathering and systems implementation projectsInsurance Data Management Association (IDMA) certifications WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE: Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salaryAnnual performance bonus opportunityComprehensive benefits package and total rewards program Culture & Environment Flexible hybrid work environmentCollaborative and supportive team cultureRecognition of individual contributions and shared successesOpportunities for professional growth and development Boca Raton Headquarters Perks On-site café and coffee shopFitness centerGame roomEmployee events and activitiesCompany sports leagues
