TEAM: DATA RESOURCESPAY TYPE: HOURLYJOB OVERVIEW:At NCCI, we’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in performing analytical research to identify and resolve routine data issues impacting NCCI’s data providers and products and services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying the nature of data issues and invoking developed solutions to resolve the issues. Based on your knowledge of the system and/or data type supported, you’ll provide needed testing support for baseline, discretionary, and investment projects impacting the core work.WORK LOCATION:This position will work in a flexible-hybrid environment. The selected candidate must live locally within a commutable distance to our Boca Raton, FL headquarters.NOTE: NCCI will not sponsor applicants for work visas.WHAT YOU’LL DO: Identify and/or resolve customer data issues and assist data providers in the resolution of these issuesProvide testing and system support, including researching issues to determine if NCCI systems issues are contributing to the root causePrepare documentation to resolve system requirements, procedures, or customer communications to resolve issues impacting core work functions and the supported customer groupParticipate in process review and improvement of team functionsProvide support to newer team members and collaborate with team members on resolutions to data provider challenges WHAT IT TAKES: Bachelor’s Degree or related experienceCoursework in database and/or system management or design, data extraction, data mining, or data warehousing is preferred2+ years experience in an analytical role in a service-oriented, financial, and/or insurance related enterprise where primary work performed uses web-based or other business systemsAbility to perform independent research using business applications, databases, data viewing tools, and reports to identify root cause and resolve data issuesAbility to identify present system issues and test system changes to confirm resolutionAbility to identify nature of customer issues and implement fixes from established resolution plansExperience participating in efforts to improve team processes and providing suggestions on team dutiesAbility to lead customer teleconferences to resolve issues, including agenda preparation and minutesAbility to interface professionally and effectively with higher-level staff or management on the customer sideAbility to prepare appropriate internal reports on customer issues to be shared with broad audienceSolid knowledge of navigating web-based systems to provide training/assistance to customersAbility to independently handle multiple tasks to meet established deadlines and SLAsAbility to provide inbound/outbound customer support, owning a variety of inquiries simultaneouslyAbility to makes proactive calls to customers, providing them with the needed detail to help them understand and resolve issuesStrong computer, teaming, and verbal and written communication skills to deliver on assignmentsAbility to take on work outside comfort zone to develop skills for future assignmentsProficient with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES: Knowledge of insurance, claims, or financial dataAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE: Work for the leader in workers compensation information providing data, insights, and tools for almost 1,000 insurance companiesCompetitive starting base pay plus a targeted annual performance bonusPhenomenal work environment, with perks including an onsite café, coffee shop, game room, fitness center, and employee activities and sports leagues to participate inWonderful team of dynamic people to work with who are fun, caring, and friendlyPositive work environment and culture that celebrates success and honors each other’s contributions to the teamFantastic benefits package and total rewards offerings
