OVERVIEW:
At NCCI, we’re looking for a Meeting and Events Coordinator to join our Strategy & Communications teams in delivering impactful company-wide meetings and events. This includes managing internal conference center meetings and events, supporting customer-facing event planning, and contributing to internal communications initiatives.

This position will work in a flexible-hybrid environment. The selected candidate must be local within a commutable distance to our Boca Raton, FL headquarters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Meeting & Event Planning
- Plan and coordinate all customer meetings and events held in the NCCI conference center
- Work closely with catering, telecommunications, and facilities teams to ensure seamless delivery of food, beverage, and operational support
- Manage all aspects of activities related to business meetings, conferences, and special events
Vendor Management
- Responsible for venue and hotel selection, budget preparation, contract negotiations
- Coordinate food and beverage services and manage audio-visual technology needs (software, applications, equipment)
- Cultivate and maintain high-value relationships with all customers and vendors to ensure successful event experiences
Communications Support
- Assist the Corporate Communications and Events team with internal communications initiatives
- Support communications processes and platforms
WHAT IT TAKES:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of meeting and event planning experience
- In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, 5+ years of combined experience in meeting and event planning in either a corporate setting, hotel/catering, or conference center would be required
- Detailed knowledge of site selection processes, contract negotiation, menu planning, audio visual equipment, and budget preparation and administration
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Creative problem solver
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
