Nason Yeager is a multi-service law firm, offering a broad range of legal services founded in 1960. Our Palm Beach Gardens location is seeking a Junior Commercial Litigation Associate for our Commercial Litigation practice group. This will be an in–office position.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Junior Commercial Litigation Associate to join our growing litigation practice. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain hands-on experience handling sophisticated business disputes while working closely with experienced litigators in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will participate in all phases of commercial litigation, including legal research, motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation. This role provides substantial client exposure, meaningful responsibility, and a clear path for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management and litigation of complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare thoughtful analyses of legal issues and case strategy.
• Manage and oversee written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Review, analyze, and organize documentary evidence and business records.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Assist with witness preparation, exhibit management, and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
• Maintain case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service and achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Zero to three years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial or business litigation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience handling commercial, business, contract, real estate, construction, or other complex civil disputes.
• Drafting substantive motions, legal memoranda, and discovery-related documents.
• Participation in depositions, hearings, and mediation preparation.
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
