ModMed is seeking a Business Development Representative - Supplier Partnerships. You will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential supplier partners for Modernizing Medicine. You will play a crucial role in expanding our network of strategic alliances, contributing to the growth and enhancement of our healthcare technology solutions.

Your Role:

  • Proactively research and identify potential supplier partners that align with Modernizing Medicine's strategic objectives and product roadmap.
  • Conduct initial outreach and engage with key stakeholders at prospective partner organizations through various channels, including email, phone, and professional networking platforms.
  • Clearly articulate Modernizing Medicine's value proposition and the benefits of a potential partnership to prospective suppliers.
  • Qualify leads and assess the strategic fit, technical capabilities, and business potential of prospective partners.
  • Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings between qualified prospects and the Partnership Management team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all outreach activities and prospect interactions within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with the Partnership Management, Product, and Sales teams to understand partnership needs and ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies relevant to Modernizing Medicine's ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of outreach strategies and messaging for supplier partnerships.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, pre-med, business, marketing or related degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, or a related client-facing role, preferably within the healthcare technology or software industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective outreach, engage prospects, and qualify leads.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare technology landscape and understanding of healthcare provider needs is a plus.
