The Marine Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing marine outboard engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires technical expertise in electrical diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety standards on various marine equipment. Following ABYC and NMEA guidelines and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine maintenance and repairs to ensure reliability
• Conduct system diagnostics to identify issues quickly
• Repair and maintain equipment, focusing on hydraulic and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot electrical systems to resolve faults efficiently
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Responsible for general cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicles while in use

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in marine technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marine outboard engine repair
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
