Seminole Marine is looking for an experienced Marine Travel Lift Operator to join our team. The Travel Lift Operator is responsible for the movement of all vessels located in the facility for haul & launch, designated work, and storage. This position requires the ability to inspect, repair, and maintain all assigned equipment. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to work diligently under pressure. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team are a must. The successful candidate must be dependable and committed to their personal success and the success of the team and company.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate 75 and 100 Ton Marine Travel Lifts, and forklifts efficiently, effectively, and demonstrate safe handling of vessels
- Efficiently manage the boat yard, including positioning vessels on and off trailers, and stands for optimal space and accessibility
- Inspect and maintain equipment, ensuring slings, cables, and other components are in optimal working condition
- Perform yard work such as pressure washing, blocking vessels of all sizes, and general maintenance as required
- Assist with ground maintenance and ensure overall boatyard cleanliness
- Available to work overtime when required
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager
- Follow Seminole Marine Safety and Environmental rules and complete the required related training.
Technical and Physical Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years’ Marine Travel Lift experience preferred
- Heavy forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Any skills considered standard that an Equipment Operator should possess

Compensation:
- Hourly rate starting at $30.00, with flexibility for higher rates depending on qualifications and experience.
