Summary:

The Guest Experience Supervisor oversees guest services for university events and programs, including individual and group ticketing, ticketing systems and guest records. Additionally, this role supports university events and customer service initiatives for the Office of Marketing and Communication.

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Box Office:

  • Lead daily operations of the university Box Office, including individual and group

ticket sales, subscriptions and student and employee allotments.

  • Evaluate and maintain ticketing systems and procedures in conjunction with the Business and Finance, Marketing and Communication, and IT Services.

  • Reconcile ticket sales with the Business and Finance office and ticketholder information with University Advancement to ensure seamless constituent records.

  • Assist University Advancement in filling group sales for special performances and events.

  • Coordinate special accommodations for ticketed events, including VIP seating.

  • Responsible for electronic and cash transactions.

  • Supervise, train and schedule box office staff.

Marketing and Events:

  • Lead front-of-the-house operations for ticketed events, including will call and

guest relations.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and maximize ticket sales.

  • Publish public information for ticketed events using external communication

channels such as Tix.com and Craft CMS.

  • Advise on appropriate event ticketing and registration processes, including virtual and in-person events.

Customer Service:

  • Support Marketing and Communications initiatives through effective communications and customer service.

  • Field public inquiries for University Events.

  • Field lynn.edu Request for Information submissions and general phone inquiries.

  • Serve as a customer service specialist for the Office of Marketing and undefined

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in a customer service and events, preferably in a box office setting

  • Familiarization with event ticketing systems

  • Ability to collaborate and problem-solve effectively

  • Experience managing a team

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent

    experience
