Job Summary
The HR OPERATIONS ANALYST combines the responsibilities of an HR operation analyst and HRIS Analyst contributing to the seamless delivery of HR services and optimization of HR systems and processes. It is responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of our HR systems and processes within HR ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. This role involves conducting audits, report generation, and providing technical support to HR staff and other departments. Additionally, this role requires strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement in HR service delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Use independent judgment to manage, maintain and update employee lifecycle information in all HR systems. Ensure data integrity within multiple systems. Troubleshoot system functionality and downstream system impacts.
- Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the HR data. Liaise with external vendors, payroll and benefit providers to troubleshoot operational issues. Lead and support upgrades, releases implementations and integrations.
- Ensure HR processes and practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Main point of contact for office locations related to employment compliance. Support audits and compliance reviews by gathering data for external vendors.
- Provide operational support for Operations team which includes but not limited to; Benefits leave processing, invoice billing. HR SharePoint maintenance, coordination of compliance requests related to background checks and supporting the HR Business Partner.
- Provide technical support and training to HR staff and other users of the HR systems.
- Generate and analyze reports to support HR initiatives and business decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance systems efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in HRIS administration or similar role
Preferred Education & Experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in HRIS software (Paylocity or other HCM systems), advanced excel skills
- Experience with system implementations/upgrades/report building
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all level of the organization.
