Position Summary

The Event Services AV Project Manager is responsible for leading all audiovisual project planning and execution for Federation events, ensuring seamless integration of technology from concept through completion. This role manages AV operations for a diverse portfolio of events, ranging from intimate VIP meetings to large-scale signature gatherings. The Project Manager leverages technical expertise, project management skills, and strategic vision to deliver exceptional event experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead AV project planning, execution, and post-event review for 55–70 annual events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and event objectives.
  • Oversee AV inventory management, equipment rentals, and vendor partnerships, optimizing resources and budget.
  • Collaborate with presenters and stakeholders to design and deliver impactful presentations, including media integration and rehearsal support.
  • Direct onsite AV setup, live event monitoring, and technical troubleshooting, serving as the primary point of contact for all AV-related matters.
  • Develop and implement AV standards, templates, and SOPs to ensure consistency and quality across recurring event types.
  • Train and mentor internal staff on AV best practices, troubleshooting, and presentation technologies.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies (e.g., hybrid platforms, LED walls, wireless systems) to enhance event delivery.
  • Manage relationships with external AV vendors and venues, ensuring compatibility, quality, and compliance with Federation standards.

Qualifications and Success Factors

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in AV technology, event production, and project management, with a proven ability to lead multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality event experiences.

Work Environment:

Position is eligible to work from home occasionally in accordance with Federation policies. When working from home, employee must:

· Follow all Federation policies and procedures,

· Be available to other employees during Federation’s normal business hours,

· Not work from a public place (e.g., coffee shop, library, etc.) and/or join a public, insecure wi-fi network when working with sensitive or confidential information,

· Coordinate with IT department to maintain appropriate computer equipment and connectivity.

Pay Rate:

In addition to benefits, the annual compensation range for this role begins at $55,000. We benchmark our salaries for new hires in relation to the role, level, and role location; however, we consider a multitude of factors, to include relevant experience, skills, and education/training, to determine compensation levels.
