ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conference Room Technology Management

  • Set up and perform daily checks and maintenance of conference room computers, displays, and AV equipment, ensuring meeting spaces are fully operational and ready for use

Help Desk Support

  • Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and audio/visual equipment
  • Respond to help desk tickets, emails, and walk-up requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform day-to-day help desk responsibilities utilizing the ZenDesk ticketing system.
  • Provide remote and in-person help desk support to end-users, ensuring remote options are properly installed.
  • Troubleshoot user printing issues and manage PaperCut troubleshooting.
  • Provide updates, statuses, and completion information to manager and/or users via voicemail, email, or in-person communication.

Hardware and Software Support

  • Identify hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on operating systems, software, and firmware
  • Help maintain and service laptops and workstations.
  • Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, and printers on user premises.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Active Directory, hardware configuration, cloud-based phone system support preferably 8x8 and advanced troubleshooting both MAC and PC.
  • Experience with ProCore, Sage, Bamboo, DATTO, Ninja One, Concur, Sharepoint and Bluebeam preferred.
  • Install and maintain virus protection on end-user computers.
  • Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements.

Network and IT Infrastructure Management

  • Maintain and troubleshoot network-connected devices at corporate office and job sites
  • Maintain the hard-wired and wireless networks, making suggestions for upgrades as needed.
  • Set up and maintain all remote job sites for IT services, including setting up a hardware VPN if necessary.
  • Order installation of internet services for remote job sites (e.g., Comcast, Spectrum, and Starlink) as discussed with IT Manager.
  • Support and enforce IT security policies and procedures
  • Participate in IT projects including deployments, migrations, and system upgrades

Onboarding and Training Support

  • Prepare laptops and iPhones for new employees.
  • Maintain a schedule for checking in on jobsites and new employees.
  • Assist with Lunch & Learn training sessions as needed.

Inventory and Asset Management

  • Track inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Order equipment and supplies for the IT department as needed.

Vendor and Backup Management

  • Assist with vendor management.
  • Assist with backup management.

Battery Backup and Update Management

  • Ensure battery backups are in working condition.
  • Assist with managing updates on all laptops.

Research and Procurement

  • Assist in the research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.

Daily Communication and Collaboration

  • Meet daily with IT Management to review tasks, address challenges, and identify additional concerns.
  • Document support tasks, solutions, and system configurations accurately in the IT knowledge base

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in technical field preferred.
  • 2 to 3-years of relevant experience required.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Acronis and Sentinel One required.
  • Certifications preferred for this role:
    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Network+
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
    • CompTIA Security+ (Preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to sit with back at a 90-degree angle for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to stand upright for up to 4 hours per day.
  • Ability to look at a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Full dexterity of wrists and fingers required with repetitive motions.
  • Ability to hear and speak on a standard telephone.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, push, pull or carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch and crawl for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to navigate tight crawl spaces.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
