Position Summary:
To coordinate all phases of implementation, administration, analysis and reporting of results related to federal, state and district assessment and accountability programs. To provide continuous support to the overall educational environment by utilizing effective behavioral strategies to address student behaviors. Provide ongoing behavior intervention strategies for all students in all aspects of the educational environment. Provide oversight and coordination of the school’s clubs and extracurricular programs, ensuring opportunities for student engagement and connections beyond the classroom. The position supports the development of a positive school culture by aligning behavioral supports, student activities, and academic initiatives.
Testing Coordination
- Coordinate and manage all facets of state and federal testing and test-related activities for FAU Lab Schools (A.D. Henderson and FAU High School), to include but not limited to, distribution of tests in secure-environment, storage, security, inventory, ordering, scheduling and coordination, delivery and pick-up, scanning, scoring, test disposal, testing modifications, printing of scoring reports, distribution of scoring reports, securing testing locations, training staff, and ensuring IEP and 504 testing accommodations are implemented with fidelity
- Apply knowledge of state laws, rules, policies and procedures related to assessments in order to ensure full compliance in the organization and administration of all testing programs
- Organize and collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration to prepare statistical data in the form of reports, records, charts and graphs
- Provide appropriate training and ongoing support regarding test administration requirements for staff administering and proctoring assessments as well as for school audiences
- Maintain, update and reconcile conflicts in confidential testing data
- Develop annual assessment calendar to present to the School Advisory Body
Behavioral Support Coordination
- Implement a school-wide positive behavioral support system aligned with the Character Counts! framework to promote a culture of respect, responsibility, and ethical behavior
- Work cooperatively with teachers and administrators to promote positive student behavior and reinforce school-wide expectations and character education initiatives
- Design and oversee implementation of developmentally appropriate crisis prevention and intervention plans as well as constructive classroom management techniques
- Develop, implement, and train staff on behavior modification plans
- Consult with staff on topics including behavior management, classroom modifications, and appropriate inclusionary practices
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) for individual students, as needed
- Design and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) including data collection systems
- Collaborate with and support educators and other staff to complete FBAs, implement BIPs, collect and analyze data, and make recommendations for adjusting learning plans as necessary
- Participate in providing staff development activities for teachers to improve their skills in behavior management strategies
- Be available to the classroom whenever a crisis situation occurs in order to provide emergency intervention
- Administer one-to-one intensive behavior intervention to students
- Provide assistance with de-escalating student behaviors and supporting successful reintegrating into the classroom
- Participate in IEP, MTSS, and 504 meetings as needed for behavioral consultation
- Monitor and assess the progress of students on a regular basis and communicate through student conferences, parent conferences and established reporting procedures
- Provide input and assist in updating student code of conduct and discipline matrixes
- Coordinate and manage student discipline processes for grades K–9, including documentation, communication with families, and alignment with the Code of Student Conduct
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of behavioral incidents, interventions, and outcomes to support data-informed decision making
- Analyze behavioral data trends to proactively identify needs, implement targeted supports, and strengthen school-wide practices

Clubs and Student Activities Coordinator
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of school clubs and student activities for grades K–12 in collaboration with club sponsors and school administration
- Work cooperatively with club sponsors and administration to develop, communicate, and maintain expectations, procedures, and timelines related to student clubs and extracurricular activities
- Support the planning, organization, and execution of club offerings that promote student engagement, leadership, character development, and a positive school culture
- Collaborate with club sponsors and administration to ensure club activities align with school goals, student needs, and established policies and procedures
- Coordinate the collection and organization of club rosters, student sign-ups, permission forms, and other required documentation
- Assist club sponsors and administration with addressing student behavior, attendance, supervision, and safety concerns related to club participation
- Support the equitable access and participation of students in clubs and extracurricular opportunities
- Monitor club enrollment, participation trends, and student interest to make recommendations for future programming and improvements
- Collaborate with administration and club sponsors to evaluate the effectiveness of club offerings and identify opportunities to expand or enhance student activities
- Ensure that all club operations are carried out in accordance with school procedures, safety expectations, and administrative guidance
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to club sponsors regarding procedures, expectations, and implementation of club activities
- Maintain accurate records related to club offerings, participation, sponsor assignments, and activity documentation
- Collaborate with administration and club sponsors to develop annual procedures for club proposal submission, approval, and implementation
- Coordinate the use of campus spaces and resources for club meetings and activities in conjunction with administration
- Assist with publicizing club opportunities and timelines to students and families
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree, educational administration, or related field from an accredited institution.Minimum of three years’ experience working directly with K-12 students.
Knowledge of state (FAST, EOC, etc.) and national (PSAT, SAT, etc.) assessments and ESE testing accommodations.
Possesses effective scheduling and coordination skills.
Valid Professional Teaching Certification in the State of Florida.
