Position Summary:
The Center for Online and Continuing Education at Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Online Programs Admissions Concierge - Boca Raton, FL.

The primary role of the Online Programs Admissions Concierge is to enroll new students into the university’s online programs. The Concierge will work with students from the point of interest through enrollment, resolving most enrollment questions and issues and escalating only the most complex issues to higher levels. The Online Programs Admissions Concierge is primarily responsible for inquiry follow-up, managing the admissions process, providing high-quality customer service via phone, online, and in person, and liaising with program directors and other enrollment services as needed. The role reports to the Director of Online Enrollment and Student Success at the Center for Online and Continuing Education and will work closely with staff in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Graduate College. This role requires adaptability and comfort pivoting as priorities and initiatives evolve.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provides support to the Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions offices with oversight and management of the admissions process for all online programs’ applicants.
Responsible for guiding prospective online students proactively through the admissions process from application through enrollment and towards a successful online learning experience by clearly communicating program requirements, transfer credits, payment options, time commitment, technology requirements, and student support services, to ensure students move through the process without any roadblocks.
Responsible for assessing applications, handling documentation, collecting information, entering data in databases and maintaining accurate student academic records.
Lead resolution of complex admissions and onboarding cases requiring coordination across multiple academic and administrative units.
Monitor the timely review of online programs applications received, accurate verification of information in student information systems (Banner, Slate, CAS, etc.), prompt communication with applicants, and assist as needed.
Monitor and facilitate the timely and compliant processing of all admission decisions, including posting academic records, test scores, and admissions decisions. May need to facilitate changes/updates to the student record prior to matriculation.
Troubleshoot admission issues to facilitate an orderly and timely admissions process for online programs.
Track and monitor student visits (in person or virtual), communications, and applications for admissions, and prepare reports to track conversion and yield of applicants.
Analyze inquiry, application, and enrollment data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving conversion and yield for online programs.
Serve as a subject-matter expert on online admissions workflows, Banner and Slate processes, and cross-unit enrollment coordination, providing guidance and training support as needed.
Serve as an admissions liaison and coordinate regular communication with the Undergraduate Admissions, the Graduate College, Center for Online and Continuing Education, and academic departments to ensure efficient and compliant processing of online undergraduate and graduate programs applications and related documents.
Coordinate regular team meetings between Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate College, and the Center for Online and Continuing Education with the goal of promoting and maintaining efficiency in the online programs’ application process.
Serve as a strategic enrollment partner by proactively identifying process improvements and enrollment barriers impacting online, transfer, returning, and second bachelor’s students.
Develop and maintain collaborative recruitment and enrollment pipelines with Florida state colleges and other institutional partners in support of transfer student growth.
Partners with academic departments to support program-specific enrollment strategies and address student concerns that impact persistence and matriculation.
Support re-engagement strategies for former FAU students and second bachelor’s applicants interested in online programs.
Participate in recruitment events and promote online undergraduate and graduate programs.
Travel to other campuses or locations may be required for events or presentations.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and five years of experience in higher education admissions are required.Salary:
