Position Summary:
The Department of Management Programs in the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Business Strategy Area, at the rank of Assistant (Senior Assistant preferred) or Associate Professor, to begin in Fall 2026.
Florida Atlantic University is a Carnegie R1 institution, and this position carries research expectations consistent with that designation. We seek a scholar with a completed PhD from an AACSB (or equivalent) university in a relevant field with emphasis on strategic management, a record or clear potential for publishing in top-tier journals, and demonstrated excellence in teaching. The ideal candidate is committed to advancing strategy research and building a national scholarly reputation. A complementary interest in International Business or entrepreneurship is desirable.
Responsibilities include publishing in leading strategy journals; teaching strategy courses at the undergraduate, MBA, and PhD levels (primarily at Florida Atlantic's Boca Raton campus) and contributing to departmental and college service. The successful candidate will also contribute to an atmosphere of collegiality within the department.

The selected candidate for this position is required to submit an official transcript sent directly from the institution for the Provost’s credential file prior to the first day of employment. Similarly, for degrees from outside the United States, the evaluation by an organization belonging to the National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES), with an indication of the documents the evaluation was prepared from (official transcripts, diplomas, dissertation abstracts) is required for the Provost’s credential file prior to the first day of employment. Transcripts must be issued to Florida Atlantic University, not to the individual applicant.
