Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking an ERP Systems Analyst – Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities includes:

  • Assists the appropriate Assistant Director in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and acts on their behalf as needed.
  • Works extensively with SQL, preferably PL/SQL, when working with Oracle databases.
  • Works with database reporting tools and can extract data effectively from relational databases.
  • Collaborates with the team to configure and maintain scheduled processes and jobs using Broadcom AppWorx/Automic within the Ellucian Banner Student Information System (SIS), supporting Student Financials, Financial Aid, and other student service areas.
  • Utilizes iPaaS tools such as SnapLogic to support job automation and system integrations.
  • Works with SFTP, API, and other data transport protocols for secure file exchanges.
  • Analyzes and transforms data for outbound and inbound system integrations involving Ellucian Banner.
  • Applies structured change management processes to minimize operational impact and ensure system stability.
  • Manages incidents, service requests, change requests, and project tasks using an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.
  • Develops and maintains detailed documentation related to Student Financials and Financial Aid processes within Ellucian Banner.
  • Coordinates closely with the Tuition and Billing and Financial Aid teams, supporting critical financial processes and job automation efforts.
  • Evaluates business needs and proposes technology solutions to improve automation, data exchange, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitors the health of scheduled jobs, proactively identifying and resolving failures or anomalies.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning, with the ability to independently research, understand, and adopt new technologies as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization OR High School Diploma and four years of appropriate experience required.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

At least two years of experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Student Information System (SIS), working with SQL, creating queries, analyzing data, producing extracts, and supporting system jobs.

Experience with Power BI for developing dashboards and reports that support operational decision-making and analysis.

Familiarity with Ellucian Banner (particularly Student Financials and Financial Aid modules).

Experience querying Oracle databases using SQL tools and techniques.

Exposure to AppWorx/Automic, SnapLogic, or other job scheduling and integration platforms.

Understanding of data privacy and security best practices, especially in a higher education context.

Salary:

$72,000 - $77,000 per year.
