Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Medical Student Clinical Compliance Coordinator - Boca Raton, FL.
The Medical Student Clinical Compliance Coordinator position will be responsible for ensuring that medical students meet full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to their ability to complete the College’s undergraduate medical education (UME) program. The primary role of this position will be developing, implementing, organizing, and monitoring compliance programs, policies, and procedures, as well as conducting audits and assessments with regard to medical student compliance for clinical activities.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Learn and maintain proficiency with all clinical compliance requirements of medical students. Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
Communicate directly with medical students and clinical partners to ensure that all medical student clinical compliance requirements are met allowing timely progression of medical students into clinical activities as scheduled throughout the curriculum.
Monitor compliance with regulations governing medical education programs, such as the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective action plans and monitor their implementation.
Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters.
Support investigations into compliance incidents or violations and help implement appropriate disciplinary measures or corrective actions.
Prepare and submit reports to management, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders as required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, including documentation of policies, procedures, and training materials. Assist in responding to compliance-related inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Adhere to confidentiality and privacy practices as required.
Provide administrative support for the clinical curriculum staff, including oversight of the AAMC Visiting Student Learning Opportunities Program.
Complete special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
A master’s degree.
Experience in a higher education institution, medical school, or hospital.
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of faculty, staff, and students. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel required.
Exceptional customer service, organizational and time management skills.
Salary:
