Job Description
• End-to-end understanding of activities performed for assigned Clients.
• Is responsible and owns the review and sign-off for payroll being delivered.
• In-depth understanding of US Payroll processes supported by Escalon for different geographies.
• Escalation and resolution points for team members about process-related queries.
• Must clearly understand the existing metrics in the process, how they are measured, and improvise the measurement system to make it more effective and transparent. Detailed understanding of Process metrics e.g. SLA, KPI.
• Escalate issues and seek advice when faced with complex issues/problems.
• Raises relevant quality and/ or scope issues that may impact delivery and streamlines decision making processes where possible.
• Is available to and approachable by team members and participates in Team building activities.
• Maintains positive and effective work relationships with clients/ employees/onshore.
Requirements
• Minimum 6 years(with 1 year of minimum team handling experience) of US end-to-end payroll activities & US Taxes.
• Knowledge of processing payroll for clients' employees.
• Expertise in State registration and de registration.
• Deduction setup, checking Standard deduction, New Hires & Terminations.
• Reconciliation of taxes, Garnishment.
• Expertise in I9, W4, and W2 form & Amendment activities.
• Resolving employee Queries over calls & emails.
• Payroll Tool Knowledge like ADP Workforce, and Quick Books.
• Weekly & fortnightly & Month End Reporting.
• Work closely with the team to ensure quality parameters & TAT are met.
• Excellent in MS- Excel like VLOOKUP, Pivot table, etc.
