Advisory Operations Director

Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is evolving our Bangalore Shared Services Center (SSC) into a Global Capability Center (GCC) that delivers scalable, high‑value advisory support across regions. The Director of Advisory Operations will build on recent momentum and accelerate the SSC’s transformation into a global delivery platform that supports Advisory at enterprise scale. You will own the strategy and execution for core Advisory Operations capabilities—including Deal Management, Financial Analysis Hub, Valuation & Analytics support, and a BI/Reporting COE—while championing digital, data, and process excellence.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Transformation: Execute a multi‑year roadmap to mature the SSC into a GCC for Advisory and beyond, aligned to global priorities and service-level standards.

Operational Excellence: Lead end‑to‑end delivery for Advisory Operations services (Deal Management, FA Hub, Valuation support, Reporting & BI). Standardize and document processes, implement balanced scorecards to cultivate excellence, and drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and data‑driven methods.

Digital, Data & Automation: Scale analytics and automation using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Fabric; sponsor AI‑assisted reporting and workflow optimization.

Talent & Capability Building: Build a high‑performing team; attract and develop talent across analytics, finance, and operations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Be the primary liaison to global Advisory leaders and operations heads; align demand, capacity, and priorities.

Financial & Risk Management: Own budget and space planning; deliver on productivity commitments; ensuring cost, quality, and cycle‑time improvements are realized.

Key Outcomes

  • GCC operating model designed, approved, and in execution with clear capacity ramp and service catalogue.
  • Standardized workflows for Deal Management and FA Hub with defined SLAs and >95% on‑time delivery.
  • Advisory Reporting Suite live (Power BI/Fabric), with automated pipelines and role‑based access.
  • Measurable productivity uplift (e.g., 10–15% cycle‑time reduction) and improved stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Talent plan executed (hiring, upskilling, internal mobility) with <8% regrettable attrition.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in Shared Services/GCC, Advisory Operations, or related COE leadership roles.
  • Proven track record leading global transformation, service standardization, and digital enablement.
  • Functional depth across finance/analytics/valuation workflows; familiarity with Argus/IAG and advisory reporting a plus.
  • Expertise with Power BI, SQL/DAX, Power Automate/Apps, and enterprise data platforms; strong process mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership; comfortable operating in a matrix/global environment.

Core Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking & Execution
  • Operational Rigor & Continuous Improvement
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making
  • Change Leadership & Coaching
