Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a self-starting, highly experienced Regional Project Development Services (PDS) Director to lead and oversee our project development initiatives across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This pivotal role will be responsible for delivering a dynamic portfolio in the APAC region for a major global fintech client and driving innovative project solutions, enhancing client satisfaction, and enhancing operational excellence in our project development services. The APAC PDS Lead role includes leadership over a highly motivated Program Management Oversight (PMO) team within the region and reports directly to the Cushman & Wakefield Global PDS Lead specifically for this global fintech client account.Job Description
About the Role:
Leadership & Strategy: Lead a high-performing, cross-regional team to deliver inclusive, innovative project development services in APAC, aligning with Cushman & Wakefield’s strategic goals and fostering professional growth through mentorship and technology adoption.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering customized project solutions and serving as the key liaison for major initiatives, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders on scope and budget through Steering Committee engagements.
Project Management: Oversee complex project delivery with timely updates, risk mitigation, and compliance, while leading PMO operations, optimizing client value through cost savings, and building a reliable supply chain of delivery partners.
Financial Oversight: Manage project finances and resource allocation to ensure profitability, while delivering accurate reports and cost controls across APAC, and presenting strategic insights to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, development services, or related roles within the real estate industry, with a focus on the Asia Pacific market.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale development projects from conception to completion.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in both English and local languages preferred. Ability to travel across the Asia Pacific region as required.
