About the Role

Cotleur & Hearing is requesting resumes for a Mid-Senior Level Land Use Planner (4+ years).

Candidates work on a team with other planners and landscape architects. Planners work on wide range of projects within the state of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply knowledge of land development regulations governing planning in the State of Florid
• Demonstrate computer skills, including proficiency in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF and Outlook, GIS, AI
• Draft justification statements, prepare entitlement application
• Make deliveries of submittal items to local municipalities
• Present projects to various municipalities
• Work alongside landscape architects and other site planners to develop plans conforming to land development regulations
• Effectively work with team, governmental staff, clients, and private sector consultants to resolve site planning issues
• Experience with GIS is a plus
• Should have AICP or working towards gaining certification

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master's Degree with a major in Planning is required and be AICP certified

Position is for full time, in person

Ability to Relocate: Jupiter, FL: Relocate before starting work

Pay range and Compensation package

Salary and benefits are commensurate with position and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience, qualifications, and the candidate’s ability to contribute to planning, entitlement, and development review projects.
