Summary Objective

Under close supervision, provides food service to customers. Prepares and serves food to patrons, collect payments and make change, cleans work area, and balances cash at end of shift; and perform related duties as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The job duties/responsibilities listed below are those that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.   • Serve food and beverages to customers in a very fast-paced environment
  • Assess inventory and assist in preparing product orders as necessary. Stock and restock items as necessary.
  • Proper cash handling including, greet and services guests at the registers, taking orders, and accepting payments, handling cash, debit and credit cards.
  • Clean and sanitize work area including equipment and utensils.
  • Refills condiment containers.
  • Opens and closes the concession.
  • Insure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Completion of tenth (10th) grade and six (6) months of customer service experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • Knowledge of food service experience and sanitation procedures according to local licensing regulations.
  • Knowledge of daily sales reporting and basic accounting skills.
  • Skill in talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
Physical Standards Required to Perform Essential Job Duties:
The position performs work where the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods, stoop, bend, talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is noisy.
