Valuations lie at the heart of most major business transactions - from mergers and acquisitions, to financial reporting, tax valuation, and litigation. Complex regulations and valuation methodologies can make determining objective, comprehensive valuations no easy feat. That is where we come in.
CBIZ valuation professionals provide accurate, independent and timely valuations of tangible and intangible assets. We have a depth of expertise working with the full range of industries and asset types. Our comprehensive services address the gamut of valuation needs you may encounter during the course of the business life cycle, including financial valuation, litigation support, tangible assets appraisals, machinery and equipment valuation, and real estate valuation. We leverage our national resources to ensure you have quality, thorough information you need when you need it.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties:
- Assist with preparation of the information documents and client presentations
- Perform analysis using department specific templates
- Maintain and update data on market trends, competitor analysis and other business intelligence
- Perform administrative functions including client communication, setting up and managing client project files, etc.
- Utilizing in house software and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- You are currently enrolled in a bachelors program studying a form a business, preferably finance. You enjoy working in a team environment.
- You have basic Microsoft Office skills
- You have time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- You are interested in the finance and accounting industry
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills, including knowledge of GAAP, Taxation compliance, codes and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet and audit software
Compensation
The hourly rate for this job in this market is $20-$40. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position. The compensation above is not representative of an employee’s total compensation.
