About this role:
Carrier is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to ensure the operational success and flawless execution of marketing campaigns that will drive Carrier Energy’s brand visibility and Utility program adoption. The Carrier Energy Marketing Project Manager helps increase Carrier Energy’s brand awareness and supports growth in the energy sector. This executional and marketing operations position will lead the planning, running, and tracking of marketing campaigns and events to boost engagement and business results. Main duties include marketing reporting, execution of digital campaigns, managing creative projects, copywriting, event management and maintaining editorial marketing calendar. This operational role is key to making sure all marketing efforts run smoothly and successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver tracking and reporting for Carrier Energy marketing activation
- Act as project manager and lead on Carrier Energy a creative and through leadership assets and campaign development
- Support campaign and event activation needs
- Management of Carrier Energy editorial calendaring of marketing activations
- Support design and execution of digital campaigns.
Marketing Operations:
- Ensures operational effectiveness by streamlining the marketing function’s activities, setting best practices, optimizing processes and workflows; builds operational systems with advanced tools. Manages operational planning, forecasting and budgeting processes. Acts as the PMO for key programs related to operational effectiveness. Leads management and coordination with marketing vendors, agencies and suppliers to drive consistency and leverage scale.
Marketing & Communications Strategy:
- Supports the Corporate Marketing & Communications strategic planning process by working with the leadership team to set medium- to long-term strategic direction, developing key themes, consolidating key issues and opportunities, providing input on specific topics such as market assessments and situation analysis, budgeting and managing the process timeline and schedules. Helps define and implement a formal marketing and communications planning framework and process across Carrier, leveraging long-range strategic plans to develop annual operating plans, clear KPIs and measurement.
Marketing Development & Effectiveness:
- Drives functional talent management and development in partnership with the leadership team and HR business partner. Develops, implements and maintains global marketing & communications learning agenda to ensure continual upskilling in alignment with industry-leading organizations. Identifies emerging marketing & communications skills and capabilities and proactively adjusts learning agenda to drive continued growth and minimize skills gaps.
Customer Education:
- Develops and implements educational content such as webinars, tutorials, and user manuals that help our customers understand and use our products and services effectively. Designs and develops content for training programs to improve product knowledge and enhance customer experience.
Product Launch & Literature:
- Creates and manages product literature, training materials, and other marketing collateral ahead of product launches. Develops launch plans and ensures the timely and successful introduction of a new product or service to the market.
Promotional Program Management:
- Develops promotional program strategies, including roadmaps where collaboration with the full program team and product development has been actively incorporated. Develops and delivers clear, simple, differentiated, high impact promotional programs for residential products, sales and marketing, and coordination with other brands and business units across the company.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of Marketing experience or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of Marketing experience.
- 4 + years of experience in the utility, energy or HVAC industry.
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success in development of marketing operations systems, campaign development and project management with creative agency.
- Execution and design experience in digital campaigns and marketing automation, preferred experience in HubSpot or like-CRM.
