PlanIT is seeking a Carrier Integration Specialist to join our growing team.
The Carrier Integration Specialist serves as the vital link between the Brown & Brown analytics team and our carrier partners. Your primary mission is to ensure that health plan enrollment, medical claims, pharmacy claims, and other critical data flow seamlessly from external partners into the Brown & Brown HPI analytics environment. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of inbound data feeds—from initial outreach and implementation to long-term maintenance—ensuring data completeness, integrity, and timeliness.
How You Will Contribute:
Process Management: Act as the project manager for all carrier data integrations. You will lead the carrier outreach process and keep data pipeline projects on track from initial request and implementation through ongoing data delivery.
Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for carrier and other data partners. You will be the one following up when a file is missing or data format changes unexpectedly.
Data Validation & Quality Assurance: You will perform high-level data reconciliation to ensure the integrity of inbound feeds. You will proactively review files against carrier reports and internal expectations, identify discrepancies and collaborate with data partners and teammates to ensure data integrity and completeness.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Partner with local Brown & Brown offices and teammates to coordinate carrier contact and outreach, review proposed data file layouts and documentation, facilitate the review and execution of any required agreements (HIPAA, Data Use, etc.). Occasionally work with teammates and carrier partners to modify or enhance existing data feeds to meet HPI analytics and Brown & Brown business needs.
Issue Resolution: Identify delays or gaps in expected data and work with teammates, carriers and other data partners to resolve issues and mitigate the risk of operational impact.
Skills and Experience to be Successful:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
5+ years related experience.
Must have knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to perform detail-oriented work, handle multiple tasks and handle a high volume of calls under sometime stressful situations.
Pay Range
$80,000 - $90,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
