Position Summary
As an essential member of the Brightline Station Operations team, you are an integral part of our guests’ journey. As the Retail Attendant, you will assist our guests in finding the right gift, souvenir to capture their memory, or supplies to make your ride even brighter. Pay Rate - $20.00 an hour
Essential Job Functions:
· Customer Service: Provide attentive and detailed service to all guests; use suggestive selling techniques when referring to menu options and retail offerings, and cordially share information about our Company services and destinations.
· Merchandising: Responsible for maintaining and managing how merchandise in our market is displayed to drive both revenue and guest experience.
· Loss Prevention: Be aware of guests' behaviors and raise an alarm to the security team in the event of suspicious activity.
· Communication: Monitor and review all Brightline communication channels, including our company intranet, bConnected, during work hours to ensure all company and department communications and notifications are promptly reviewed.

This is a physical job on a daily basis and requires the ability to use more extreme physical abilities in the case of emergencies. You must be able to move and lift heavy objects up to 50lbs in a variety of directions including over your head, traverse across uneven terrain, exchange information in person and over electronic devices/systems, ascend/descend ladders, perceive the physical environment around you, and perform all safety-related procedures.

While you don’t have to be a whiz, you maintain basic math skills.
Work Environment:
Works in a clean, air-conditioned office space, free of noise, dust, and humidity.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. This position is very active and the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl all day. Occasional lifting of light items required. No specific vision requirements.Objects weighing 70 pounds or more must be accompanied by a second individual to avoid injury.
