Description
Performs clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. Effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff. Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel. Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and throughput and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting. Qualifications
Degrees:
- High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Adm Partner desired.
- Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution; peer respect; critical thinking skills; self-motivated; customer service skills and/or orientation.
- Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstance prior and ability to multitask.
- Boca/Bethesda Only: BLS certification obtained within 6 mo.
