Responsible for the efficient operation of a quality retail sales operation through supervisory and administrative work in the Gift Shop(s). Provide direct supervision to the front-line staff. Support the gift shop operations in the areas of cash sales, purchasing, receiving, inventory control and sales, while providing excellent customer service to all guests. • Minimum requirements are as follows: at least five years of experience as a retail supervisor.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
• A high degree of self-direction, problem solving skills and organizational skills.
• Extensive knowledge of retail management, promotion and marketing methods and working knowledge of buying procedures and product market values.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures, personnel management and supervisory techniques.
