Description
The Exercise Physiologist provides an individualized and/or group program of exercise progression for the client. Must be able to perform fitness assessments, have knowledge of different types of exercise equipment and be able to provide exercise recommendations. Personal training techniques will be utilized in their job function. The EP will assist the client/s with exercise progression, health education, and utilize disease management techniques in order to help the client achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Estimated pay range for this position is $21.24 - $27.61 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications
Degrees: - Bachelors.
- Basic Life Support.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
- Bachelors degree in Exercise Science.
- Bilingual English/Spanish helpful.
- Completed and passed monitor tech arrhythmia course and 12 lead EKG course if applicable.
- Current member of a specialty organization.
- Nationally recognized fitness certification.
- BLS and ACLS certifications if applicable.
