Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead all purchasing, receiving, and inventory operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position plays a key role in ensuring the resort receives quality products and services at competitive pricing while maintaining inventory controls, vendor relationships, and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing for all resort departments.
• Negotiate pricing and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Oversee receiving, storeroom operations, and inventory control.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation.
• Partner with department leaders to support operational needs.
• Supervise Purchasing and Receiving team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of purchasing experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, receiving, inventory management, and vendor negotiations.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality purchasing/inventory systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• CPM, CPSM, or similar certification is a plus.
