Join the team at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences, where luxury hospitality meets wellness-inspired service. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to support our Accounting and Purchasing operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, and distributing food, beverages, supplies, and operating equipment while ensuring all deliveries meet hotel quality standards and company procedures. This position plays an important part in maintaining smooth hotel operations and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, and accuracy
Verify invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
Maintain organized storage areas and receiving logs
Rotate inventory
Process delivery receipts and forward documentation to Accounting daily
Communicate discrepancies, damages, or missing items to management
Assist with inventory counts and maintain security of storage areas
Handle incoming and outgoing packages according to hotel standards
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
