Position Summary

The Spa Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all guests entering the spa. This individual is responsible for providing a warm and professional welcome, ensuring seamless appointment scheduling, promoting spa services and retail products, and delivering an exceptional guest experience that reflects the Amrit brand of wellness and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all spa guests warmly and professionally, providing a welcoming atmosphere.

• Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently using spa management software.

• Manage appointment scheduling, changes, and cancellations accurately.

• Answer phone and email inquiries regarding spa services, hours, pricing, and availability.

• Educate guests on spa services, promotions, and wellness programs.

• Upsell treatments and retail products to enhance guest experience and meet sales goals.

• Ensure the spa lobby and reception area are clean, organized, and inviting.

• Communicate effectively with therapists, service providers, and management to coordinate scheduling and special requests.

• Process transactions, handle cash, and reconcile daily sales reports.

• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or wellness-related field is a plus.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a spa, hospitality, or luxury retail environment.

• Knowledge of spa treatments and wellness principles preferred.

• Proficiency in spa booking systems (e.g., MindBody, Book4Time) is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Well-organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for wellness, customer service, and luxury hospitality.

• Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
